Description:
Serves as a lifeguard for all pool operations; provides constant surveillance of pool activities; maintains the cleanliness of the pool and pool area; monitors and controls the chemical levels of pool water ensuring proper levels are maintained at all times; prepares pool records in a accurate and complete manner; supervises all swimming and waterfront activities.
Required Experience:
Two years' experience working as a life guard and teaching swimming lessons, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Licenses and certifications required:
Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor Preferred
Red Cross Certified Lifeguard
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Additional Comments:
Camp starts Monday, June 8, 2010.
Camp ends Saturday, August 9, 2010.
All camp staff are expected to attend the camp orientation and training.
Selected candidates will be interviewed before a hiring decision is made.
